Jen Posusta is the Owner of Made in the Shade Blinds & More of Des Moines. Jen became the owner of Made in the Shade Des Moines in 2019. Jen is a professional interior designer who’s vision for her franchise is to provide superior customer service having a lifelong passion for design, she recognizes that window fashions are the perfect finishing touch to create a space that is unique to your style and vision.
Jen bases her business out of Ankeny, Iowa where she resides with her Husband Matt, 3 daughters, Madisyn, Morgan, and Myla, and recent son-in-law, Hunter. She has worked as an Interior Designer and Selections Coordinator for 3 local home builders and has designed more than 100+ new construction homes and several remodeling projects.

Meet Madi
Madi Egdorf joined Made in the Shade Des Moines & Ames in 2022. Madi has been around the business since it started back in 2018, with watching her mom love what she does, it made her want to join the team & family business right out of highschool! Madi is a Window Fashions Consultant as well as the Marketing Manager for Made in the Shade Des Moines & Ames. Madi lives in Ankeny with her Husband, Hunter, and dog, Malibu. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family & friends, supporting her siblings, shopping, and going to new restaurants or shops in town!
Meet Teri
With a BFA in Interior Design, Teri has over 20 years of design experience, working in both residential and commercial as well as the product side of the industry. Teri believes that the window treatments are one of the most impactful design elements of your space.
Teri has lived in the Ankeny area for over 30 years. She has two grown children and a shih tzu/bichon mix named Dolly.
In her “free” time, Teri enjoys her role as a Clean Crafted wine consultant, cooking, working out / being active, pickleball, tennis, traveling and most of all spending time with family & friends.
